Report: Iran in deal to export spare parts to Russia, maintain jets
MOSCOW, Jul 27 (PRIME) -- Iran will sign an export equipment agreement with Russia and service Russian jets, spokesman for the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization Mir-Akbar Razavi said late on Monday as quoted by newswire Mehr.
"It was also decided to sign a cooperation agreement with Russia to ensure exports of spare parts and equipment manufactured in Iran to Russia as well as carrying out repair and maintenance services and technical support of Russian aircraft by Iran’s repair centers," the official said.
Russia and Iran have also agreed to raise the number of flights to 35 per week.
